The Clowne Rock & Blues Club has the best blues based Classic Rock Bands in the area every Sunday night. Live music at the Clowne Community Centre between Chesterfield & Worksop, North East Derbyshire, every Sunday night from 9:00pm 'till 11:00pm. Less than 2 miles from the M1 Junction 30 at Barlborough. Reasonably priced drinks, usually with a choice of at least 3 cask ales & plenty of parking. Doors open from 8:00pm - Bands start at 9:00pm - Strict 11:00pm finish.

What do you get if you mix around one eighth of the Bakerlight Blues Band, three-fifths of Mag 7 & half of Maison Rouge? Why, 'The Blues Revue' of course! Founded in July 2015 they want to share their brand of blues, rock, funk & soul with you. Their style is classy blues-related music spanning American & British influences played by experienced musicians with a genuine love of the genre. They say 'If we can't get you out of your seats, then no-one will'
10th December Mahogany Newt£4 on the door
Mahogany Newt is a power rock trio performing high energy classic rock covers from some of the greatest bands in the world. The band formed in early '90s & has since become well established in South Yorkshire & North Derbyshire as one of the top rock cover bands in the region. The set includes a wide variety of songs including tracks by Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Journey, Toto & many more. The live performance is enhanced by the subtle use of backing tracks providing keyboard lines to faithfully recreate some of the best songs ever written. (These are not 'off the shelf' backing tracks but purpose made tracks recorded by Andy for the band)
17th December AVIT Blues Band£4 on the door
The AVIT Blues Band are becoming firm favourites here at Clowne, so it's good to have them back yet again. They're from the Doncaster area & say their music is from where Blues meets Rock. It's all about live music, playing blues from the soul and having a good time! This year sees them performing at more festivals as their popularity grows.
22nd December The Lost Days (Friday night gig)£4 on the door
The Lost Days are an original hard rocking bunch of talented musicians from the Worksop area. Their setlist includes material from the likes of Metallica, Motley Crue, Guns 'N' Roses, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters & AC/DC. A big hitting powerhouse of hard rock havoc, displaying & demonstrating rock & roll is very much alive & kicking. With their explosive live show & extremely strong original songs, the Lost Days are quickly becoming one of the best new hard rock bands in the business.
29th December Steve Fulsham Band (Friday night gig)£4 on the door
The Steve Fulsham Band are a three piece blues-rock outfit from Hull who play a wide range of blues styles... From 60's British blues through swaggering Texas blues, all the way to all-guns-blazing 70's stadium rock whilst covering, as The Reverend Billy Gibbons put it, "all points in between". They are influenced by the likes of Led Zeppelin, Free, Bad Company, The Rolling Stones, Peter Green, Rory Gallagher, Ten Years After, Buddy Guy, Gary Moore, Robin Trower, Jimi Hendrix, ZZ Top to name but a few.
